All goods remain the property of CORE.LU until full payment has been received in full. Ownership shall not transfer to the customer until all amounts due under the relevant invoice have been been paid.
New products are covered by a 2-year warranty in accordance with applicable Luxembourg and European consumer protection laws. Used products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty unless otherwise stated on the invoice. The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship existing at the time of delivery and does not extend the original warranty period following repair or replacement unless required by law.
Repair services are covered by a 3-month warranty limited exclusively to the specific repair work performed and any parts replaced by CORE.LU. The warranty does not cover unrelated faults, subsequent failures of other components, pre-existing defects not identified during repair, or issues arising after the repair that are unrelated to the work carried out. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
The warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from misuse, neglect, improper handling, lack of maintenance, accidental damage, impact damage, liquid ingress, moisture, fire, excessive heat, electrical surges, power fluctuations, lightning, corrosion, contamination, transportation damage after delivery, unauthorized modifications, unauthorized repair attempts, installation of incompatible hardware, software or firmware modifications, malware, viruses, operating system issues, third-party software problems, or any cause beyond the reasonable control of CORE.LU.
The warranty further excludes normal wear and tear and deterioration resulting from age and ordinary use, including but not limited to cosmetic defects, scratches, dents, scuffs, cracks to external plastics caused by use, discoloration, faded markings, worn surfaces, worn coatings, worn hinges, worn ports and connectors, keyboard key wear, touchpad wear, speaker degradation, display imperfections within manufacturer tolerances, dead or stuck pixels within accepted industry standards, fan noise or reduced cooling performance caused by normal aging, reduced battery capacity due to charging cycles and battery aging, deterioration of CMOS batteries, thermal compounds, thermal pads, rubber feet, adhesive strips, cables, connectors, and other consumable or wear-prone components.
Used products may show signs of previous use, cosmetic imperfections, or age-related wear that do not affect their intended functionality. Such conditions shall not be considered defects and are not covered under warranty unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
Any warranty claim requires the product or device to be returned to CORE.LU for inspection, diagnosis, and testing. No warranty claim shall be accepted until the product has been examined by CORE.LU. If no fault is found, or if the fault is determined to be outside warranty coverage, diagnostic, inspection, shipping, handling, and repair charges may apply. CORE.LU reserves the right to repair, replace, refund, or offer a price reduction where required by applicable law.
Customers are solely responsible for creating and maintaining complete backups of all personal, business, and confidential data before submitting any device for repair, servicing, diagnosis, upgrade, or inspection. CORE.LU shall not be liable for any loss, corruption, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of data, software, licenses, passwords, configurations, user settings, accounts, or digital content resulting from existing device faults, hardware failure, storage failure, software failure, malware infection, operating system reinstallation, diagnostic procedures, repair processes, component replacement, or any other necessary service activity.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, repair services are performed without any obligation to preserve data. Data backup, data migration, data recovery, operating system installation, software installation, software configuration, account setup, software updates, and related services are available upon request and are charged separately.
Estimated repair times are provided for information purposes only and do not constitute a contractual guarantee. CORE.LU shall not be liable for delays caused by parts availability, supplier delays, manufacturer requirements, shipping delays, customs procedures, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Devices not collected within 90 days after notification of repair completion, quotation approval, quotation refusal, or repair cancellation may be subject to storage fees. CORE.LU reserves the right, where permitted by law, to dispose of, recycle, or resell unclaimed devices after reasonable attempts to contact the customer.
By accepting goods or services, the customer confirms that the product or repaired device has been received in satisfactory condition and that any visible defects, missing accessories, incorrect specifications, or transport damage have been reported immediately upon receipt unless otherwise noted on the invoice or delivery document.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CORE.LU shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or economic losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of goodwill, business interruption, loss of opportunity, or loss of data, whether arising from contract, negligence, or otherwise.
All transactions, sales, repairs, quotations, and services supplied by CORE.LU shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Any dispute arising from or relating to goods or services supplied by CORE.LU shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Luxembourg, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
